Metso is seeking an Installation and Commissioning Specialist for grinding equipment to join our Global Field Service team. The role focuses on safety, customer service and satisfaction, and reports to the Sr. Manager Global Field Service Grinding.

The position requires 90% travel to client sites worldwide, with candidates located in the NCA and APAC regions under consideration. You will audit, install, commission, and train customers on grinding mills, while collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifikationen

• Certified professional: millwright or hydraulics certifications desirable.
• Experience with grinding mills and related industrial equipment service.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Electrical knowledge related to mechanical applications is beneficial.
• Ability to advise customers, engineering firms and contractors.
• Able to interact with Field Sales, Training, Technical Support and Engineering teams.
• Skilled at resolving field issues during assembly, installation, maintenance and repair with safety focus.
• Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Engage with staff and management at all levels and build positive relationships.
• Travel globally to remote customer sites for extended periods.
• Conduct pre-installation audits to assess site conditions and logistics.
• Address field service challenges with ownership and swift resolution.
• Submit evaluations, expense reports, and monthly work logs per processes.
• Provide comprehensive field and classroom training on service and commissioning.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
