Job summary

Magna Steyr is seeking experienced professionals for roles in engineering and manufacturing to advance automotive projects in Graz and beyond. The position requires a degree in engineering and several years of OEM experience, preferably with exposure to the Chinese market and European work environments.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in Lean Logistics, Six Sigma, FMEA or MTM, and are willing to relocate to Graz. Proficiency in Mandarin and English at C1 level is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Several years of experience in relevant fields; preferably with OEMs in China and Europe.
• Experience with modern automotive work systems: Lean Logistics, Six Sigma, FMEA, MTM.
• Willingness to relocate to Graz, Austria.
• Excellent Mandarin and English at C1 level; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute expertise across all process steps and project phases focusing on time, cost and quality.
• Develop, evaluate and optimize production, logistics, quality or sourcing processes for local or international automotive projects.
• Analyze complex requirements and translate into practical, future-oriented solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and suppliers to ensure progress.
• Drive continuous improvement, identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative approaches across processes and systems.
