Job summary

UNOPS seeks an Advisor, Digital Technologies (GIS) to provide technical advisory and support for the EU-for-Property Rights project in Albania. You will lead GIS data integration, data quality, and stakeholder engagement to improve cadastral systems and LPIS alignment with EU standards.

The role requires ensuring smooth system integration, coordinating with national authorities, and delivering capacity-building activities for SCA and partners throughout a multi-year program.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS data, cadastral systems, and IT project management.
• Ability to work with national authorities and international donors.
• Certifications in GIS software are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide GIS advisory and support to the Project Manager for technical components.
• Analyze GIS data, gaps, and data interoperability between systems.
• Ensure compliance with EU geospatial standards in data handling.
