Rescale is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead and own technical engagements in the DACH region. You will work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to modernize R&D workflows and accelerate digital engineering initiatives in the cloud with the Rescale platform.

You will drive pre-sales activities, analyze customer needs, migrate workflows to cloud, and present tailored solutions with a strong value proposition across aerospace, energy, life sciences, and manufacturing

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales or technical consulting roles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel as required.

We are looking to add a Senior Solutions Architect to our team in the DACH region!

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you are responsible for leading and owning technical engagements with our customers. You will work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams in a consultative technical role to help customers modernize their R&D workflows and accelerate their digital engineering initiatives in the cloud with the Rescale platform. You will play a critical role in the success of Rescale and enjoy the opportunity for personal and career growth.

At Rescale, this means you will work on and impact:

Pre-Sales Leadership:

• Lead in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the customer pre-sales engagement, such as customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts. Our most successful SAs lead and complete 2-3 POCs for strategic customers each quarter in under 45 days.
• Workflow Optimization & Analysis: Work independently to analyze technical needs, requirements, the customer’s current infrastructure, operations, and workflows. Your point of contact is usually a literal rocket scientist, CFD or FEA engineer, or aerospace engineer. You will learn their technical workflow, help migrate it to the cloud, and show them how Rescale can accelerate their innovation.
• Tailored Solutions & Deep Empathy: Gain a deep knowledge of customer workflows and complex R&D environments to provide a tailored solution with a unique value proposition. Our customers sit at the forefront of the most innovative technologies in the world, from genome sequencing to aeronautical design to crash testing.
• Digital Transformation Strategy: Work with customers to define and execute their digital transformation strategy, modernizing workloads from on-prem to the cloud. Our SAs create strategic, future-proof visions that span from 1 to 5 years.
• Industry Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader for Rescale by articulating and presenting our solutions alongside cutting-edge topics like Physics AI and Agentic Engineering at conferences, user groups, webinars, and other industry or partner-driven events. Our SAs attend and present at 5-6 regional and national conferences throughout the year.

What we’re looking for:

• Education: B.S. in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or equivalent (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred).
• Domain Expertise: Expertise in digital engineering disciplines (e.g., CFD, FEA, Molecular Dynamics, Computational Chemistry, Seismic Simulation) with the ability to demonstrate thought leadership and practical understanding of emerging frameworks like Physics AI and Agentic Engineering.
• Experience: At least 6 years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or technical consultant role.
• Customer Obsession: Obsessed with providing the best experience and solutions to customers.
• Problem Solver: Enjoy solving difficult technical and business problems and strive to find the most elegant solutions.
• Communication Skills: A great presenter with the ability to communicate highly technical and futuristic topics in an easy-to-understand, compelling manner.
• Logistics: Willingness and ability to travel as required.
