Zusammenfassung

Mattro GmbH in Austria is seeking a part-time Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to innovative product development from concept to series production.

You will design and develop mechanical assemblies, create 3D CAD models and drawings, and evaluate concepts with manufacturing, cost, and quality in mind. The role offers remote and on-site work by arrangement, for a 6-12 month period, with 10-30 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Strong CAD skills with Autodesk Inventor.

You will contribute to innovative product development projects and support them from the initial concept phase through to series production.

What you’ll do

Design and development of mechanical assemblies and components

Creation of 3D CAD models and technical drawings

Development of concepts while considering manufacturing, cost, and quality requirements

Implementation of design changes and product optimizations

Coordination with engineering, purchasing, production, and suppliers

Preparation of technical documentation and development reports

Who You are

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification

Several years of experience in mechanical design and product development

Strong CAD skills (preferably Autodesk Inventor)

Experience in the development of products for series production

Knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as sheet metal processing, plastics engineering, die casting, or machining is an advantage

Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Good German and English communication skills

Project Start: To be agreed

Project Duration: 6-12 months, with the option of extension

Workload: 10-30 hours per week

Work Location: Remote and/or on-site by arrangement

Hourly Rate: To be agreed
