JobsinAustria in Vienna seeks an FPGA Software Engineer to design and implement FPGA architectures and RTL logic for high‑speed data processing. You will lead hardware–software integration with embedded firmware and high‑performance FPGA components, and develop robust C/C++ or Rust firmware.

Qualifikationen

• RTL development using VHDL/Verilog for complex digital systems.
• Experience with FPGA vendor toolchains (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
• Proficiency in C, C++ or Rust for embedded software and drivers.
• Understanding of PCIe, Ethernet and DDR memory controllers.
• Hardware debugging with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Fluent English for technical documentation.

Aufgaben

• Shape and develop FPGA architectures and RTL logic for high-speed data processing.
• Lead hardware–software integration between embedded firmware and FPGA units.
• Craft and sustain embedded firmware in C/C++ or Rust.
• Execute testing, debugging, and validation for FPGA designs and software.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define system specs and integration.
• Participate in design and code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Stay updated on evolving technologies in embedded systems, FPGA, and quantum domains.
• Document design specifications, implementation details, and testing protocols clearly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
