The role oversees accounting operations for the European team and serves as the primary finance lead for European activities, reporting to Head of Finance and Accounting.

The successful candidate will bring a proactive, hands-on approach, drive financial decision-making, and help scale financial operations during a growth phase across Europe.

The Financial Controller Europe will oversee the accounting operations for the European team and act as the primary finance lead for European activities. The position will lead financial decision-making across Europe, take ownership of current books and support the development of financial operations. Reporting into the Head of Finance and Accounting, the successful candidate will bring a proactive, hands‑on approach and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as the primary lead and key decision maker for finance within the EU.
• Establishing and overseeing European accounting operations.
• Owning financial reporting and compliance such as vendor payments and analysis of balance sheet and P&L.
• Driving process improvement through managing external accounting providers and operational enhancement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A background of 5-8 years in finance or a related field, with demonstrable accountancy experience.
• A strategic and proactive mindset, combined with a hands‑on, independent and solution‑oriented approach to getting things done.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport with people from all backgrounds and cultures.
