Zusammenfassung

International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna seeks an Equipment Security Engineer (P3) to support design, evaluation and lifecycle management of safeguards equipment. You will assess vulnerabilities, perform root cause analyses and contribute to safety and security improvements across complex mechanical systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, five years of relevant experience and strong English language skills. Knowledge of other IAEA languages is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree - University degree in computer science, engineering or a similar technical area.
• Minimum of five years of relevant working experience in mechanical engineering and systems engineering.
• Excellent oral and written command of English.
• Knowledge of other official IAEA languages is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Support design, evaluation, qualification and lifecycle management of mechanical systems in safeguards equipment.
• Assess vulnerabilities of mechanical assemblies and housings to ensure data and equipment protection.
• Conduct failure mode analysis, root cause investigations and materials degradation studies.
• Provide technical guidance and briefings to Safeguards staff on containment and surveillance systems.
• Support procurement and vendor evaluations per engineering requirements.
