Zusammenfassung

fiskaly in Vienna seeks an experienced engineering leader to run backend teams building the fiscalisation platform. You’ll guide 5–12 engineers, own technical direction, and ensure reliable delivery in regulated, high-SLA environments.

You’ll work with a PM counterpart, tech leads, SRE, and QE, shaping multi-quarter plans and translating complex problems into concrete roadmaps while maintaining psychological safety and strong team culture.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record of managing software engineers for multiple quarters.
• Engineering background with hands-on coding and architectural insight.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.

Aufgaben

• People: hire against headcount plan, conduct 1:1s, provide feedback, promote growth, address performance issues early.
• Technology: define technical direction with leads; manage debt and health of engineering system.
• Process: plan, estimate, deliver, and reflect; adapt flow and capacity signals to the team.
• Delivery: translate ideas into multi-quarter plans, surface risks early, steer to outcomes.
• Quality and reliability: coordinate with QE and SRE for prevention, incidents, and postmortems.
• Cross-team partnership: manage dependencies and share practices across the org.
