Viewpointsystem GmbH in Vienna develops award-winning smart glasses, integrating hardware, firmware and software under one roof. You’ll be embedded with software and hardware engineers, running feedback loops until everything works as it should.

This hands-on role is not end-of-line testing; you’ll test across the development cycle, design automated suites, and contribute to sign-off before releases move forward.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of relevant software testing experience or ISTQB certification.
• Solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and electronics.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like pytest, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Solid scripting skills in Python to write and maintain test scripts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
• Nice to have firmware or embedded testing exposure with Raspberry Pi/Arduino and digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, USB).

Aufgaben

• Test software throughout the development cycle and feed findings back to developers.
• Define test plans and test cases reflecting real product requirements and execute them.
• Embed testing early in the software development process with tight feedback loops.
• Design and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, regression) and perform manual/exploratory testing.
• Track defects, report clearly, and drive issues to resolution.
• Sign off only when it's ready to move a release forward.
