Job summary

ABB in Austria is seeking a Repair Assistant EMF for an onsite day shift. You will repair and rework electronic assemblies, perform inspections, and document defects to improve production quality. The role emphasizes precise work and collaboration within a structured team.

Ideal candidates have completed technical education or apprenticeship and have experience in electronics manufacturing; German proficiency is required for following instructions.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education or vocational training or apprenticeship.
• Technical understanding and experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Soldering skills are an advantage.
• Careful, precise and quality-conscious approach to work.
• Commitment and interest in working in a structured manner.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Good German skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Repair and rework electronic assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-7711.
• Perform visual inspections, microscope and X-ray inspections of assembled PCBs.
• Identify, document defects and recurring failure patterns.
• Analyze and resolve root causes to ensure a smooth ICT process.
