Job summary

ABB's Machine Automation division seeks a Repair Assistant EMF to ensure electronic assemblies meet high quality standards. You will perform repairs and rework in IPC-compliant processes, and document defects to support stable production.

You will inspect assemblies visually, under a microscope and with X-ray checks, identify root causes, and contribute to continuous improvement in ICT workflows. This onsite day-shift role offers structured work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education or vocational training (apprenticeship, technical school or comparable qualification).
• Technical understanding and experience in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and rework electronic assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-7711.
• Perform visual inspections as well as microscope and X-ray inspections of assembled PCBs.
• Identify, systematically record and document defects and recurring failure patterns.
• Analyze and resolve root causes of defects to ensure a smooth ICT process.
