Job summary

ABB’s Machine Automation division seeks a Shift Leader Electronics Manufacturing for a 2-shift onsite operation in Austria. You will lead and develop your shift team, ensure safety, quality and timely production, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires completed technical education, production experience with leadership or coordination, strong German, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education or vocational training
• Experience in a production environment with leadership or coordination
• Excellent communication and teamwork, attention to detail
• Structured, solution-oriented approach with focus on quality
• Good German skills (written and spoken) and willingness to work in a 2-shift operation

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop employees within your shift team, including development discussions and personnel decisions
• Ensure delivery schedules, quality and performance targets are met within the shift
• Monitor compliance with safety, ESD protection and workplace conduct
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
