Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Austria is seeking a student for an acoustics-focused role. You will perform electroacoustic measurements on ASIC-based components in a labs environment, using advanced equipment and software tools. The position offers flexible hours and a min.

6-month duration. Ideal candidates are studying electrical engineering or related fields, with basic programming experience in Python or MATLAB, and a structured, curious approach to experimentation.

Qualifications

• Student in electrical engineering, IT, physics, media technology or acoustics.
• Exposure to analog and digital circuit tech incl. ASICs, basic acoustics and signal processing.
• Lab exposure and programming in Python or MATLAB are a plus.
• Structured, detail-oriented with a willingness to experiment.
• Good English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acoustics: conduct independent electroacoustic measurements on ASIC-based components.
• Use lab equipment: oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers.
• Validate audio specs: SNR, THD, frequency responses.
• Support measurement workflows with MATLAB or Python.
• Record results accurately for the development team.
