United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanic & Equipment) in Vienna to maintain and repair electro-mechanical systems and related electrical equipment. The role requires routine tasks and safe operation in a high-security facility, with collaboration under supervision to ensure reliable building services.

Applicants should have relevant technical education and hands-on experience, with knowledge of AUTOCAD and MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Completed secondary education with apprenticeship and journeyman certificate in Electro-Mechanics or equivalent.
• First-level university degree or higher: at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of English and German.
• Good physical condition; willingness to work irregular hours.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine assembling, testing and maintenance of electro mechanic machines, equipment and components according to drawings and manuals.
• Inspect and assist in testing elevators and escalators; report problems clearly to Team Leader.
• Assist in repair and maintenance of façade cleaning equipment and Gondola platform operation.
• Assemble, install, test, adjust, fault-find, repair, replace electric components, switchboards, wiring and control panels.
• Ensure safety and proper handling of tools and materials; wear protective clothing as required.
• Stay updated on latest technology and discuss applications with teammates.
• Record all work information in the Facility Management Electronic Workorder Platform.
• Perform duties with due regard to security, environmental and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
