Octapharma Austria is seeking an Entry Level professional to support Drug Safety in Vienna. This temporary role involves processing post‑marketing safety information, entering ADRs, and coordinating with global pharmacovigilance teams.

You will interact with local and international colleagues, support investigations, and contribute to safety reporting and quality improvements within the CDSU team. The position ends 30 September 2028.

Qualifications

• Completed academic degree, ideally in a medical or healthcare discipline.
• Pharmacovigilance knowledge and experience in processing/reporting case safety reports would be an advantage.
• Fluent English skills as well as communication and presentation skills.
• Team player with a strong focus on timelines.
• Good level of computer literacy, in particular in the use of databases.

Responsabilités

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Processing of post-marketing, literature and clinical safety information


• Entering of adverse drug reaction reports in the drug safety database


• Requesting further information, initiate product investigations, writing narratives


• Reviewing and submitting safety reports to authorities


• Maintaining the global drug safety DB, continuously updating safety report files

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4.355,55 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
