Zusammenfassung

Kapsch requires a Database Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the data layer of software solutions. You will build scalable data services to ensure performance, reliability, and security across business-critical applications.

You will design schemas, develop SQL Server objects, and create ETL processes using SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS to deliver robust BI solutions with Power BI. Strong collaboration with analysts is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining databases and data warehouses.
• Design data access layers and services for efficient querying.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services integration.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex.
• Strong GitLab and version control practices.
• Expertise in SQL development, tuning, and performance optimization.
• Experience building BI solutions with Power BI.

Aufgaben

• Design and optimize database schemas for transactional systems and data warehouses.
• Develop SQL Server objects: tables, views, indexes, procedures.
• Build data repositories using C# and Entity Framework.
• Create ETL processes with SSIS and other tools.
• Develop OLAP and tabular models with SSAS.
• Develop and publish reports and dashboards with SSRS and Power BI.
• Tune queries and ETL pipelines for performance.
• Collaborate with analysts to define KPIs and reporting needs.
• Document models, ETL workflows, and BI guides.
