Zusammenfassung

Kapsch Group in Mexico City is seeking a Database Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the data layer for transactional systems and data warehouses. You will build scalable data services using SQL Server, C#, and Entity Framework, and drive ETL with SSIS.

Collaborate with BI teams to deliver dashboards in Power BI, tune performance, and ensure security and availability in high-transaction environments. English proficiency and a related degree are required.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining databases, Data Warehouses, and BI solutions.
• Experience building data services and data access layers for efficient querying and updates.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and web services integration.

Aufgaben

• Design and maintain logical and physical database schemas for transactional systems and Data Warehouses.
• Develop SQL Server objects: tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers.
• Build and maintain data repositories and services using C# and Entity Framework.
• Design ETL processes with SSIS and other tools; automate data workflows.
• Create OLAP and tabular models with SSAS; publish reports with SSRS and Power BI.
• Optimize queries, ETL pipelines, and models for performance and scalability.
