Mane Energy in Vienna is seeking an experienced ICT Project Supervisor to oversee onsite structured cabling installations in a data centre. You will supervise installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with drawings and schedules while coordinating with BIM and commissioning teams.

The role focuses on the physical installation of copper and fibre structured cabling infrastructure and requires strong technical knowledge and leadership within a live construction environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in ICT/Telecoms/Structured Cabling supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of copper and fibre structured cabling systems.
• Experience supervising installation teams and subcontractors.
• Experience with fibre splicing, patching and testing.
• Experience with copper termination and testing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, cable schedules and project specifications.
• Experience in construction, data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Supervise onsite structured cabling installation teams and subcontractors.
• Act as the primary onsite contact for structured cabling and telecommunications installation queries.
• Oversee copper and fibre structured cabling systems.
• Supervise fibre splicing, patching and testing activities.
• Oversee copper termination and testing.
• Supervise installation of telecoms and network racks and fibre management systems.
• Ensure installations meet drawings, cable schedules, specifications and standards.
• Coordinate structured cabling activities with electrical, mechanical and other disciplines.
• Monitor progress against the project programme and identify delays or constraints.
• Liaise with the Project Manager regarding progress, risks, issues and design conflicts.
• Attend daily briefings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings.
• Support health and safety requirements, RAMS and procedures.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and close-out of defects and punch-list items.
• Liaise with commissioning team to ensure testing and certification is completed and submitted on schedule.
• Coordinate with BIM team to ensure accurate as-built information.
• Monitor materials and manage Bill of Materials on site.
• Prepare regular progress reports for the project planning team.
• Assist with compilation of project O&M documentation.
