Zusammenfassung

Bitpanda is seeking an experienced internal auditor to design and execute audits across core operational, financial, and regulatory processes in the DACH region. You will partner with product, compliance, and engineering teams to embed early audit insights for safe, compliant product launches.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of audit experience, strong EU/DACH regulatory knowledge, and fluency in German and English. The role supports hybrid work with competitive compensation.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of audit experience in Big 4 / professional services, banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Practical understanding of EU/DACH financial regulations (AML/CTF, MiCAR, MiFID II, PSD2, or GDPR).
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, or related field; professional certification preferred (CIA, CAMS, CISA, or CPA).
• Professional proficiency in German and English for regulatory documentation and discussions.

Aufgaben

• Lead and support end‑to‑end internal audits across group entities in the DACH region.
• Test the design and effectiveness of internal controls across operational, financial, and compliance domains (AML, sanctions, regulatory).
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Product to address findings and remediation plans.
• Provide pre‑implementation audit feedback during product development to ensure regulatory and security considerations are embedded before launch.
• Support refining audit methodologies, risk‑based audit plans, and data analytics to streamline testing.
