Everware Consulting GmbH is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant for a permanent, hybrid/remote role in Germany/Austria. You will analyse business requirements, design and implement finance solutions, and optimise financial processes within Dynamics 365 Finance.

You will work with customers and project teams across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant for D365 Finance or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting).
• German localisation knowledge and fluency desirable.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyse requirements and translate into functional D365 Finance solutions.
• Configure core finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash/Bank, Budgeting.
• Lead workshops, fit-gap analyses and process assessments with customers.
• Prepare functional design documents, specifications and process docs.
• Support data migration, integration, testing and UAT.
• Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, architects and PMs.
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and ensure Microsoft best practices.
• Ensure compliance with German accounting, tax and reporting requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant to join us on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal project teams to analyse business requirements, design and implement finance solutions, and optimise financial processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You will contribute to the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Configure and implement core finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, and Budgeting.
• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analyses, and business process assessments with customers.
• Prepare functional design documents, specifications, and process documentation.
• Support data migration, system integration, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, solution architects, and project managers.
• Provide end-user training and support customers during deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and ensure solutions follow Microsoft best practices.
• Support compliance with German accounting, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with D365 Finance configuration and implementation projects.
• Experience with requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, testing, and user training.
• Understanding of German financial and statutory requirements, including German localisation, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional project teams.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
• Eligibility to work in Germany and/or Austria.
