Zusammenfassung

GAC MOTOR Austria GmbH in Graz is seeking a Cost Manager to lead procurement cost accounting, inventory control and cost reporting. You will work with SAP MM, optimize processes and ensure compliance with EU and Austrian accounting and tax rules.

The role requires 5+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing, preferably automotive. Excellent English and German language skills are advantageous. A competitive salary and strong bonus structure are offered, along with 25 days leave annually.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years in financial cost accounting and management in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive industry or mobility services preferred.
• Education in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong English; German or another European language is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Procure cost accounting for spare parts and inventory data alignment in SAP.
• Coordinate off-line vehicle business and verify manufacturing fees.
• Accrue monthly production and logistics costs; perform month-end close and cost reporting.
• Implement and optimize SAP MM module; improve cost accounting processes.
• Prepare monthly inventory, purchase and sales statements; flag inventory risks.
• Develop and enforce inventory costs and tax compliant processes per EU and Austrian rules.
• Lead annual budgets for inventory and costs; oversee annual inventory counting and impairment.
• Perform other financial tasks as assigned by superiors.

Who You Are: Cost Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement cost accounting of spare parts and accounting management of inventory inbound and outbound, ensuring consistency between SAP system procurement and warehousing data and physical inventory data;
• Coordinate vehicle off-line business, complete the verification and confirmation of contract manufacturing fees, and conduct full-process accounting treatment;
• Accrue monthly production costs and logistics costs, complete month-end closing of production costs and sales costs, and prepare relevant cost analysis reports;
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of the SAP MM module, continuously improve system processes, and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cost accounting;
• Compile monthly inventory purchase, sales and inventory statements, issue inventory analysis reports, identify and warn of inventory risks such as long-age vehicles, and follow up closed-loop disposal;
• Establish and optimize inventory management systems and cost accounting specifications to ensure business compliance with EU and Austrian local accounting and tax regulations;
• Lead the preparation of annual financial budgets for inventory, production costs and sales costs;
• Organize annual full inventory counting, conduct inventory impairment testing and calculation, and complete impairment accounting treatment;
• Complete other financial work assigned by superiors.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in financial cost accounting and management in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience within automotive industry or mobility services is preferred.
• Educational background in Finance, Accounting, or related education.
• Customer-oriented mindset & Results oriented as preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
• Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills as preferred.
• Great negotiation skills are preferred.
• Excellent English & one of other Europe language skills (German or etc.) are preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of SAP system operation and MM module; experience in cost system implementation and optimization in large manufacturing enterprises is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial management software and digital tools as preferred.
• Familiarity with EU accounting standards; knowledge of Austrian local accounting and tax rules is preferred.
