Job summary

Rocketlink Ventures in Vienna is seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to build forecasting models, manage group reporting, and support capital allocation decisions. You will influence what to fund, expand, wind down, and which acquisitions to run.

This role offers direct exposure to leadership and portfolio company CEOs, with a Vienna-based hybrid work setup and a clear path toward Head of Finance roles. A learning budget supports finance certifications and tooling.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years in corporate finance, FP&A, transaction services, or audit at a strong firm.
• Modelling fluency in Excel; familiarity with Google Sheets and at least one BI tool.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and ability to read financials critically.
• Comfort across multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction reporting structures.
• Clear written and verbal communication; simplify complex data for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own consolidated monthly reporting across the group; distill it into leadership one-pagers.
• Build and maintain per-company forecasts, scenario models, and cash-flow projections.
• Partner with portfolio company finance leads on plan-vs-actual analysis and budgets.
• Produce decks for leadership reviews, board updates, and investor conversations.
• Support capital allocation decisions with analytical backing across the group.

Sit at the centre of how capital moves across Rocketlink's portfolio. As Corporate Finance Analyst, you'll build the models that drive forecasting, capital allocation, and reporting across all of our holdings. Your numbers feed leadership decisions on what to fund, what to expand, what to wind down, and which acquisitions to run at next.

• Own consolidated monthly reporting across the group; distil it into the one-pagers leadership actually uses.
• Build and maintain per-company forecasts, scenario models, and cash-flow projections.
• Partner with portfolio company finance leads on plan-vs-actual analysis and budget cycles.
• Produce decks for leadership reviews, board updates, and investor conversations.
• Build the analytical case behind capital allocation decisions across the group.

What we're looking for

• 1 to 3 years in corporate finance, FP&A, transaction services, or audit at a strong firm.
• Modelling fluency in Excel; familiarity with Google Sheets and at least one BI tool (Looker, Metabase, Mode, or similar).
• Working knowledge of IFRS; comfortable reading a set of financials and spotting what doesn't add up.
• Comfort working across multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction reporting structures.
• Clear written and verbal communication; you can take a complex picture and reduce it to one slide leadership can act on.
