Job summary

Rabmer Group, a family-owned company with over 60 years in construction and environmental technology, is expanding its Controlling team in Austria. We seek a Cost Accounting Employee (m/f/d) to monitor finances, prepare cost analyses, and support reports for the executive board and division heads.

You bring a business degree or equivalent, experience in project controlling/cost accounting, and reliability. ERP experience (BMD) is a plus; join us for growth, flexibility, and team spirit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in business/finance.
• Experience in project controlling/cost accounting; construction industry a plus.
• ERP experience is a plus (BMD).
• Accurate, team‑spirited, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing financial monitoring, including statistics and accruals.
• Prepare target-actual comparisons and post-project cost analyses.
• Act as internal contact for controlling and cost accounting for executives and division heads.
• Assist in preparing management reports, ad hoc analyses, and monthly/quarterly reports.
• Support budget and forecast preparation.
• Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes and digitalization projects.
• Support grant management.

CONTROLLING - COST ACCOUNTING EMPLOYEE (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities with us:

• Ensure ongoing financial monitoring, including statistics and accruals
• Preparation of target-actual comparisons (including post-project cost analyses)
• Internal point of contact for all controlling and cost accounting matters for the executive board and division heads
• Assistance in preparing various reports (management reports, ad hoc analyses, statistics) as well as monthly and quarterly reports
• Assistance with Budget and Forecast Preparation
• Continuous improvement of controlling processes, as well as the implementation of digitalization projects
• Support for Grant Management

What you'll bring to the table:

• Business education (business degree, HAK, HLW, or similar)
• Professional experience in project controlling/cost accounting (experience in the construction industry is a plus)
• Experience with an ERP system is a plus (BMD)
• Accuracy, Team Spirit, and Commitment
• Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and reliably
• Responsible and entrepreneurial thinking and action

The gross monthly salary under the collective bargaining agreement is €3,067.03 (for full-time employees), with a clear willingness to offer a higher salary. The actual salary is based on the number of hours worked, qualifications, and professional experience, and is agreed upon during a personal interview.
