Job summary

You will support international subsidiaries on accounting and reporting, manage monthly and annual closings, contribute to budgeting, and drive digitalization of processes and standardization across finance functions.

Cross-functional finance projects and system enhancements will be part of your remit, shaping data quality and management decision support for the global business.

Qualifications

• Completed higher-level commercial education or comparable qualification in accounting or finance.
• Several years of accounting, group accounting, or corporate controlling experience in an international company.
• Leadership experience and a focus on developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Continuously optimize, digitalize, and standardize accounting and reporting processes
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional finance projects and support the further development of relevant systems and processes

Job Description

• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the Group Accounting team and support its continuous development

• Contribute to the budgeting process
• Prepare and further develop financial reports, financial KPIs, and variance analyses, and provide relevant information to support management decision-making
• Continuously optimize, digitalize, and standardize accounting and reporting processes
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional finance projects and support the further development of relevant systems and processes
  

Qualifications

• Completed higher-level commercial education (e.g. business college, university, or university of applied sciences) or a comparable qualification in accounting, financial reporting, finance, or a related field
• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, group accounting, or corporate controlling, ideally within an internationally operating company
• Leadership experience and a strong interest in supporting the professional and personal development of employees
• Sound knowledge of accounting and financial reporting as well as experience with monthly and annual financial statements
• Strong understanding of financial processes, financial reporting, and broader business and financial relationships
• Very good Excel skills; experience with SAP FI/CO is an advantage
• Very good command of German and English, combined with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills
