Siemens Healthineers in Vienna is hiring a Clinical IT Service Manager (m/w/d) for KIS/HIS, PACS and interoperability, in a hybrid role with 20% travel. You will act as central point coordinating between customers, stakeholders, and technical teams, driving continuous improvements across clinical IT services.

You will monitor performance, manage incidents, and enable interoperability. The role suits professionals with experience in clinical information systems, HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and strong

Qualifikationen

  • Experience with clinical information systems and hospital workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and DICOM interoperability standards.
  • Familiarity with KIS/HIS, RIS and PACS healthcare IT ecosystems.
  • Experience managing or supporting operational services for healthcare apps.

Aufgaben

  • Coordinate between customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure reliable operation of clinical IT services.
  • Drive service excellence across KIS/HIS, RIS, PACS, and related systems to maintain SLAs and high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor, analyze KPIs and identify opportunities to improve availability and workflows.
  • Collaborate to optimize data flows and interoperability across connected systems.
  • Oversee incident management with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Communicate transparently with customers on performance and improvements.
  • Partner with DevOps and application teams to support deployments and interoperability requirements.

Clinical IT Service Manager (m/w/d) KIS/HIS & PACS & Interoperability

Location: Hybrid Role in Vienna, 20% travel

You will act as the central point of coordination between customers, stakeholders, and technical teams, proactively driving continuous improvement and resolving service challenges. Bringing a strong understanding of clinical processes and data flows, you translate operational feedback into tangible improvements for products and services within complex healthcare environments.

Your Responsibilities
  • Act as the central point of coordination between customers, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring the reliable operation and continuous improvement of clinical IT services
  • Drive service excellence across KIS/HIS, RIS, PACS, and related healthcare IT systems, ensuring agreed service levels and high customer satisfaction
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on service performance and operational KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve system availability, workflows, and user experience
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimize clinical IT processes, data flows, and interoperability across connected healthcare systems
  • Coordinate and oversee complex incidents affecting clinical systems, driving timely resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions
  • Facilitate transparent communication with customers and stakeholders regarding service performance, operational topics, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to support deployments, integrations, interoperability requirements, and operational efficiency
Your Profile
  • Experience working with clinical information systems and healthcare workflows, ideally within hospital, radiology, or digital health environments
  • Strong understanding of clinical data flows and interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT ecosystems, including KIS/HIS, RIS, and PACS
  • Experience managing or supporting operational services for healthcare applications, digital health platforms, or clinical systems
  • Ability to translate operational challenges and customer feedback into service and process improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across customers, clinical users, and technical teams
What else do I need to know?

The min gross annual salary for this position is at least 60.000,00 EUR. Depending on education and experience, overpayment is possible.
