Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, anticipatory service in alignment with The Ritz‑Carlton Gold Standards
- Welcome and engage guests with genuine warmth, creating a sense of belonging and connection
- Ensure an exceptional dining experience by maintaining attentiveness throughout the guest journey - from seating to farewell
- Present menus and describe dishes and beverage pairings with accuracy and enthusiasm
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders promptly, ensuring all items meet presentation and quality standards.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, and beverages
- Maintain deep knowledge of the restaurant’s culinary philosophy and regional ingredients
- Collaborate closely with culinary, sommelier, and bar teams to elevate the overall guest experience.
- Participate in pre-shift briefings, ongoing training, and service development programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
- Prior bar or restaurant service experience preferred; knowledge of Sicilian cuisine is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Knowledge of wines, cocktails, and mixology; WSET or bar certification a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining grace and attention to detail
- Fluent in English and German; Italian language skills highly desirable.

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is € 2.263,00 per month. A higher salary may be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience.
