About the Role
This is one of the most demanding and most rewarding roles in the CEO's orbit. As CEO Business Partner, you work directly on the topics the CEO would otherwise carry himself: preparing them, structuring them, driving them forward, following up consistently, and bringing them to closure. Your focus is execution, backed by a continuous analysis of the organization and the market.
You are the CEO's right hand. With his full backing, you work closely with VPs, Directors, and senior leaders to keep agreed commitments on track, with the mandate to follow up and, where needed, to raise topics directly with the CEO. You do more than execute his agenda: you question assumptions, offer an independent view, and help sharpen decisions before they are made. Together you form a fast, well-aligned team that moves the company's strategic initiatives forward.
This role is built for someone with a strong personality, exceptional analytical ability, and an almost obsessive focus on getting things done. It is intense, it runs under constant pressure, and it is highly visible. It offers a direct line of sight into how a global automotive company is run at the very top.
Key Responsibilities
The CEO's Extended Reach
- Own the CEO's agenda from start to finish. Prepare, structure, and drive the topics the CEO would otherwise handle personally, from strategy at board level to critical operational decisions.
- Reliable follow-up. Track the commitments made to and by the CEO across the leadership team, engage with owners proactively, and make sure nothing slips.
- Challenge and sharpen. Act as a sparring partner to the CEO. Question assumptions, test decisions constructively, and bring an independent, analytical point of view.
Leadership Alignment & Follow Up
- Keep the organization aligned. With the CEO's mandate, work with VPs, Directors, and senior managers to keep their commitments on track, and raise topics directly with the CEO where support is needed.
- Single source of truth. Maintain a rigorous tracking and governance system for all decisions at CEO level and all commitments across functions: what was decided, by whom, and by when.
- Deputize for the CEO. Represent the CEO in select meetings and forums, brief him fully afterwards, and carry his priorities forward on his behalf.
Structure, Rhythm & Governance
- Design the operating cadence. Build and run the meeting rhythm, the status reviews, and the escalation paths, and the reporting that keep the leadership team disciplined and aligned.
- Bring visibility. Surface progress, risks, and areas that need attention early, with the analytical rigor and structure to make issues clear and decisions easy.
- Systematize everything. Turn recurring topics into repeatable systems driven by clear process, so the CEO's time is spent only where it matters most.
World Class Communication & Presentation
- Presentations of board quality. Produce outstanding PowerPoint decks at executive level, clear, sharp, and persuasive, for board meetings, customers, and leadership reviews.
- AI powered speed. Use AI tools fluently and creatively to work with exceptional speed and quality, from analysis to drafting to synthesis.
- Distil complexity. Turn dense, ambiguous input into crisp material that is ready for decision, at CEO standard.
What We're Looking For
- A strong, confident personality who can lead, hold senior stakeholders accountable, and command respect without formal line authority.
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, able to produce material at board level independently.
- High skill in the use of AI tools to work with exceptional speed and efficiency.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured judgment driven by system and process.
- The highest level of flexibility, and the resilience to thrive under sustained high workload and pressure while staying absolutely focused.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a genuine, deep interest in the automotive industry.
- Absolute discretion and integrity in handling confidential information at the top level.
- Fluent in English and German.
What This Role Offers
This is not a stepping stone job. It is a launchpad. You will sit at the exact intersection of strategy and execution for the entire company, with direct, daily exposure to how a global automotive business is led at the highest level.
- A true partnership with the CEO, with visibility, trust, and influence far beyond your title.
- Direct exposure to strategy at board level, to customers, and to the full leadership team.
- Broad insight across functions in an international operation with multiple plants.
- An unrivalled platform and springboard toward senior leadership.
If you want an easy, predictable role, this is not it. If you want to operate at the top, to be pushed to your limit, and to truly shape how a company is run, we should talk.
