Zusammenfassung

ZAUNERGROUP Holding GmbH seeks a motivated BIM Coordinator / HVAC Designer to lead the coordination and development of BIM models for complex HVAC and plant engineering in data center projects. You will ensure alignment between P&IDs and BIM, and deliver piping isometrics and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Revit.

The role requires completed technical education in mechanical/building services engineering or a comparable field, plus hands-on experience in plant construction design.

To strengthen our Engineering and Design team, we are looking for a motivated BIM Coordinator / HVAC Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing BIM models for complex HVAC and plant engineering systems in international data center projects, contributing significantly to the successful delivery of our BIM design processes.

• Design and planning of piping systems, steel structures, ventilation, heating, and air conditioning for data center projects
• Creation, maintenance, and coordination of 3D models in a BIM environment
• Ensuring consistency between P&IDs and the BIM model, as well as considering manufacturer specifications for equipment (e.g., pumps, control valves, instrumentation)
• Preparation of piping isometrics, as well as fabrication and installation drawings
• Working with Autodesk Revit as the central design tool
• Coordination and alignment of discipline-specific models with internal teams and external partners
• Ensuring compliance with BIM guidelines and modeling standards
• Performing model checks and clash detection
• Contributing to the further development of digital planning processes within the company
• Completed technical education (apprenticeship, technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, building services engineering, or a comparable field
• Experience in design or planning within plant construction
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit (or willingness to learn the program)
• Experience with BIM processes and digital planning methods
• Proficient in CAD and modeling software
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
• Good German and English skills

Please note that the collective agreement minimum salary under the attractive Austrian Metal Industry Collective Agreement amounts to € 2.918,14 gross per month. The actual salary will be determined based on your qualifications and professional experience and typically ranges between € 3.500 and € 4.300 gross per month.
