Ahoi Kapptn is seeking a Fullstack Developer with a backend focus to design and implement scalable APIs using Kotlin and Spring, backed by MongoDB. You will explore AI-assisted code generation, validate architectures, and own backend quality while collaborating across disciplines.

Hybrid work in Austria with flexible hours and home office. Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infra is a plus. Proactive, English/German communication and a drive to own technical outcomes are expected.

Qualifikationen

• In-depth knowledge of Kotlin, the Spring Framework, and MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of common patterns, API standards, and modern architectures.
• Confident use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
• Ambition to think beyond the backend and assume technical ownership.
• Ability to critically validate AI-generated architectures and logic.
• Communicative, team-oriented, and open to new tech stacks.

Aufgaben

• Develop new APIs with Spring & Kotlin and design database solutions with MongoDB.
• Orchestrate AI agents for automation of code generation and refactoring.
• Integrate LLM interfaces into scalable backend services.
• Architect, unit test, and document using Swagger.
• Continuously optimize developer experience via AI workflows.
• Collaborate with design/PM for cross‑platform solutions and ensure performance.
