ADB SAFEGATE is seeking a System Engineer for Air Traffic Control (ATC) solutions to support international airports. You will handle system setup, configuration, Linux environments, Ansible, and network components, collaborating with global teams.

The role requires practical engineering mindset, Bash and Python scripting, and familiarity with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, monitoring (ICINGA, Zabbix). Willingness to travel ~15% and fluency in English; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Education in computer science or relevant work experience.
• Good all around engineering mindset.
• Good understanding of computer communications.
• Good Linux know-how.
• Basic networking know-how.
• Bash and python scripting.
• Ansible, docker/podman, monitoring, DevOps practices, Kubernetes.
• Experienced in the air-traffic control area and/or aviation business highly welcome.
• Willingness to travel (~ 15%).
• Advanced English skills. Basic German knowledge is a plus.

Aufgaben

• System setup and configuration: HP/Dell Server/Client hardware.
• Cisco/HP Aruba networking.
• Linux OS install and configuration with Ansible.
• Software configuration and integration (internal product).
• Various configuration tasks (build scripts, Monitoring and Control systems based on ICINGA, Zabbix etc.).
• Creation and verification of system test procedures (linked to customer requirements).
