Mistral AI is seeking an Applied Scientist to advance AI-Physics models in collaboration with industrial customers and internal teams. You will contribute to the full stack from data curation to model deployment, focusing on high-fidelity simulations in multi-physics domains.

Candidates should have a PhD/Master's in AI or engineering, strong Python, PyTorch or JAX experience, and a track record in HPC environments. You will work in a distributed team across Europe, North America, and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or Master’s in AI or an engineering science.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience with PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience in Linux/HPC environments and scalable ML workflows.
• Able to work autonomously in a distributed team.

Aufgaben

• Design and run large-scale AI-physics simulations with domain solvers.
• Train/validate AI models on physics data with industry standards.
• Build tools for dataset creation, pipelines, and model evaluation.
• Develop agents and RAG integrating LLMs with simulation workflows.
• Collaborate with research, product and engineering teams on training runs and diagnostics.
• Manage research projects and communications with clients' engineering teams.
