Zusammenfassung

ams OSRAM’s LSP unit is seeking an experienced optical sensor developer to advance high-speed detectors and integration in silicon processes. You will lead development projects and contribute to the innovation funnel, with hands-on measurements and TCAD support.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Physics or Microelectronics, 5+ years in optical semiconductor sensing, strong documentation, and English proficiency; team leadership in projects is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in optical semiconductor sensor development, preferably with knowledge of high-speed photo detectors.
• Sound knowledge of silicon device- and process technology. Hands on experience in process technology development is an advantage
• Experience in wafer level electro- optical measurements
• Structured way of working, problem solving and documentation
• Willingness and ability to work in a team and to lead a project team as technical lead
• Master of science (or higher) in Physics, Microelectronics, or similar studies
• Proficiency of English language

Aufgaben

• Concept development and implementation of optical detectors with focus on high-speed optical data-communication
• TCAD device- and process simulations
• Layout definition of device test structures
• Process integration of photodetector in silicon process technologies
• Electro- optical measurements and selection of optical detectors, including high speed measurements
• Contribution to the innovation funnel with innovative ideas
• Act as a technical lead in development projects
