Job summary

Genetec invites experienced developers to join its Vienna-based engineering team, building hybrid cloud and on-premise security solutions with Go or .NET, and integrating AI capabilities across the Genetec ecosystem.

You will design APIs, work with Product, UX, QA, Security, and AI teams, and contribute to architecture, testing, and CI/CD in a collaborative, international environment. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Go or C#/.NET and API development.
• Experience designing production software and APIs.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve hybrid solutions connecting on-prem and SaaS products.
• Develop backend services and APIs with .NET or Go.
• Design data integrations and pipelines for security data.
• Create investigation workflows across Genetec products.
• Develop multi-domain search, analytics and movement analysis.
• Integrate AI features such as natural-language search, CV, semantic search, summarization, anomaly detection, and recommendations.
• Productionize ML models via Genetec ML Platform.
• Design for data locality, bandwidth, retention, security, reliability and scale.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Security, AI and other teams.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
• Participate in paid on-call and incident response.
• Share knowledge and contribute to innovative engineering culture.
