Job summary

Vienna Insurance Group in Vienna offers a full-time, hybrid role as AI Governance Team Member. You will ensure compliance with EU AI and data rules, coordinate governance networks and facilitate AI decision forums across the Group.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in data/AI governance, strong stakeholder management, and fluent English; German is a plus. The position emphasizes flexible hours, a modern workspace and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in law, economics, business, data governance, information security or computer science is required.
• 3–5+ years in data/AI governance, compliance, risk management or regulatory functions.
• Strong knowledge of EU AI Act, GDPR and DORA; governance frameworks and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EU AI and data regulations (AI Act, GDPR, DORA).
• Coordinate the AI Responsible Persons network across the Group with guidance and governance processes.
• Facilitate AI Board, Councils and decision forums, including prep and follow-up.
• Maintain the AI Register: classification, documentation, evaluation and monitoring of AI systems.
• Define and implement AI governance policies, procedures and risk assessment practices.
