Lever, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer - AI-First based in Austria for a partner-led, remote role. Join an autonomous team delivering high-scale software with Java and Spring Boot on the backend, Angular and TypeScript on the frontend, and AI-assisted development workflows.

You will own features end-to-end, review AI-generated code, and contribute to secure, reliable cloud applications. This remote-first position values autonomy, continuous learning, and impactful product

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack focus.
• Proficiency with object-oriented backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with AI coding assistants or interest in agentic development workflows.
• Ability to review AI-generated code for functionality, architecture, security.
• Knowledge of secure software development and modern threat landscapes.

Aufgaben

• Own product development within an autonomous engineering team with Product Managers.
• Develop and maintain full-stack apps using Java/Spring Boot on the backend and Angular/TypeScript on the frontend.
• Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and delivery while maintaining quality.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, architecture, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Take end-to-end ownership of software delivery including cloud infrastructure and deployment.
• Apply modern application security practices and identify vulnerabilities across applications.
• Collaborate with teammates to balance frontend and backend priorities by product impact.
• Contribute to a results-driven, low-meeting engineering culture with strong autonomy.
