GE HealthCare Austria's Systems Engineering team develops and supports advanced ultrasound technologies, spanning image quality optimization and probe integration. In this role, you will own production sampling processes and coordinate sampling requirements across global GE HealthCare sites and ultrasound product lines.

You will implement and configure measurement equipment and software, analyze data, and coordinate laboratory activities to ensure regulatory compliance and reliable product

Formación

• University degree in Medical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline, or HTL qualification.
• Several years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience in project coordination or project management.
• Knowledge of measurement technology and laboratory processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• German language skills are an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, configure, and maintain measurement equipment and supporting software tools.

• Plan and lead verification and validation activities for laboratory processes, measurement equipment, and software tools.

Job Description Summary

The Systems Engineering team at GE HealthCare Austria develops and supports advanced technologies and laboratory processes for medical ultrasound products. Our work spans image-quality optimization, acoustic simulation, certified laboratory measurements, ultrasound probe integration, and the development of next-generation ultrasound platforms. In this role, you will take ownership of production sampling processes and coordinate sampling requirements across global GE HealthCare sites and ultrasound product lines. You will implement and configure measurement equipment and software, analyze measurement data, support laboratory operators, and coordinate laboratory activities. Your work will help ensure reliable product performance, regulatory compliance, and the successful release of high-quality ultrasound products. • University degree in Medical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline; alternatively, a qualification from a higher technical college (HTL)
• Several years of relevant technical experience
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Experience in project coordination or project management
• Knowledge of measurement technology and technical laboratory processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• German language skills are an advantage

• In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 60.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
