Job summary

GE HealthCare Austria's Systems Engineering team develops and supports advanced ultrasound technologies, spanning image quality optimization and probe integration. In this role, you will own production sampling processes and coordinate sampling requirements across global GE HealthCare sites and ultrasound product lines.

You will implement and configure measurement equipment and software, analyze data, and coordinate laboratory activities to ensure regulatory compliance and reliable product

Qualifications

• University degree in Medical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline, or HTL qualification.
• Several years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience in project coordination or project management.
• Knowledge of measurement technology and laboratory processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain measurement equipment and supporting software tools.
• Coordinate production sampling requirements and laboratory activities across global GE HealthCare sites and ultrasound product lines.
• Plan and lead verification and validation activities for laboratory processes, measurement equipment, and software tools.
• Analyze measurement data, identify trends, and translate results into clear technical conclusions and actions.
• Lead cross-functional investigations and coordinate global activities when product-performance deviations occur.
• Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory and measurement operators.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, product teams, manufacturing functions, laboratory operators, and global sites.
