Vizrt is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage billing, AR, revenue recognition, and accrual activities in a global context. You will work with regional finance teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in O2C processes.

You will resolve billing discrepancies, support automation, and ensure aged accounts are addressed while maintaining audit readiness. This on-site role offers collaboration with the AR team and broader finance function in Austria.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of accounting, AR, and finance experience.
• Experience in qualified accounts receivable or accounting roles.
• IFRS or US GAAP revenue recognition expertise.
• International experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented with strong communication.

The Accountant - Accounts Receivable supports processing of global receivables and order-to-cash operations by ensuring timely billing and accurate revenue recognition. This role works collaboratively with regional finance teams to maintain process accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement within order-to-cash activities. The position plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, cash flow preparedness, and timely recording of sales transactions, but does not include collections or credit responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for performing billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and revenue accrual activities, as well as troubleshooting billing discrepancies. This role will collaborate closely with team members and other departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all order-to-cash processes.

• Support planning, coordination and quality assurance in the order-to-cash process under the guidance of the Global Finance Manager over Revenue. Assist in ensuring timely and accurate billing and assist in ensuring timely and accurate revenue accruals
• Help resolve billing discrepancies and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve order-to-cash process issues.
• Perpetually seek out automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure customer accounts are accurate.
• Ensure aged accounts are addressed while collaborating with the collections team
• Collaborate with other finance stakeholders to encourage audit preparedness
• Additional duties as assigned by the Finance Manager over AR

• Bachelor/ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of overall combined accounting, AR, and finance experience
• Prior working experience in qualified accounts receivable and/or accounting role required
• Subject matter expert in IFRS or US GAAP revenue recognition required
• International experience is preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Flexible in their approach, with the ability to multi-task
• Confident, pro-active, self-motivated and able to work without supervision
• Analytical abilities, attention to details and aptitude in problem-solving
• Willing to be 'hands-on' and get truly involved
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages preferably Microsoft Business Central
• Proficient in English

Supervision Received

This role requires a proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and projects under general guidance. The individual will take direction and priorities from the AR Manager and is expected to manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision while working as a part of a greater AR team. While work is performed with a high degree of ownership, the role operates within established processes and objectives set by the Finance Manager over AR and broader accounting leadership.
