Job summary

OMV Group is offering a 6-month technical internship at the Schwechat refinery. This program welcomes female applicants first and provides hands-on experience in core refinery disciplines while working on real projects.

Interns will be involved in technical activities, assess innovative technologies, and contribute to environmental management initiatives across the group. The role includes reports, data collection, and preparing training materials for employees.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a technical degree in Chemical, Industrial, Process, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in state-of-the-art projects and daily operational tasks.
• Analytical mindset with a drive for data and numbers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in all technical activities in the relevant discipline.

What we are looking for

• Currently studying Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar area and you want to gain practical experience.
• Interested in technical state of the art projects as well as in daily operational tasks.
• Analytical mindset and drive for data and numbers.
• Microsoft Office is a walk in the park for you.
• Team-oriented and proactive mindset.
• You are fluent in English, German advantageous.

The support contribution will be between € 1.100,- and € 1.400,-monthly, depending on your level of education.
