Job summary

JPMorganChase in Buenos Aires seeks a seasoned LATAM Operations Control Management professional to shape and maintain a robust control environment across Argentina and Andean region. You will lead risk assessments, oversee CORE processes, and partner with Operations, Audit and Compliance to drive governance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in financial services with operations/controls and strong analytics using Tableau, Qlik or Alteryx.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services with operations, controls, audit or risk management.
• Strong analytics using Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx or similar.
• Proven ability to perform deep dives and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication for senior stakeholders.
• Influencing and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first line of defence with Operations on the control agenda.
• Partner with Operations teams to assess incidents and remediate control issues.
• Conduct functional deep dives and targeted risk assessments.
• Ensure controls are designed and operating effectively.
• Develop, analyse, and publish standardized control metrics.
• Drive remediation and risk mitigation programs.
• Manage governance and reporting of control initiatives.
• Implement Alteryx/Xceptor to automate controls.
• Review change agenda and design new controls when needed.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
