ExxonMobil in Buenos Aires is seeking an Accountant specialized in Volumetric Movement to manage accounting transactions and GL activities within the Volumetric Movement Inventory team. The role focuses on timely volumetric processing and reconciliation across terminals and locations, ensuring compliance with controls.

You will work with operations, traders, and schedulers to understand scenarios, perform month-end closes, and support manufacturing mass balance activities as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business Administration or Economics.
• Advanced English (Fluent).
• Accounting and data preparation knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excel proficiency.
• Power BI knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Confirm volumetric movements (deliveries, receipts, write-ons/offs, rebrands) and prepare volumetric reports.
• Reconcile inventories by location and resolve open items monthly.
• Perform month-end close for assigned areas.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with traders and schedulers to understand business scenarios.
• Ensure processes comply with controls requirements.
• For Manufacturing, perform Plant Mass Balance and record net deliveries, consumption, and production; investigate oil loss variances.

Job Role Description

As part of our focus on Finance we are looking for Accountant professionals targeted for our Volumetric Movement Inventory organization to be involved in managing accounting transactions and general ledger activities.The Volumetric Movement Analyst is responsible for assisting in timely and accurate volumetric processing as well as reconciliation of those movements in terminals, in transit and other manufacturing and non- manufacturing locations, in compliance with applicable controls.

What You Will Do

• Confirm volumetric movements (e.g. deliveries, receipts, write on / offs, rebrands, etc.) and prepare volumetric reports as needed
• Reconcile assigned inventories per location and review and action open items monthly.
• Perform month-end close process for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
• Work with traders and schedulers to understand business scenarios.
• Ensure work processes under responsibility comply with relevant controls requirements.
• For Manufacturing, perform Plant Mass Balance activities, ensure proper recording for net deliveries, consumption & production and oil loss variations. Work with operations to investigate Oil Loss variances above tolerance.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business Administration / Economics.
• Advanced English (Fluent).
• Accounting and data preparation knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excel proficiency.
• Power BI knowledge
