Hyre in Argentina is seeking a Video Editor & Digital Marketing Assistant for 30 hours weekly, fully remote. You will transform raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels and tutorial videos, with a focus on text sync, captions, transitions, and audio timing.

Beyond editing, you will support website updates, ad management, and Klaviyo email automation, collaborating with a Marketing Strategy VA and client to align content with growth goals.

Responsabilidades

• Short-Form Video Editing: Edit ~5 Instagram Reels per week, ensuring engaging transitions, text sync, SFX, and flow.
• Educational App Content: Edit 2-3 tutorial videos per week with captions and callouts.
• Content & Asset Organization: Maintain organized folders for raw footage, drafts, and final assets.
• Digital Advertising Support: Assist with setting up and updating digital ads and monitor basic campaign performance.
• Website Migration: Assist with migrating to a new theme, format content for mobile, ensure functionality.
• Email Automation: Help set up and refine Klaviyo automations and test links.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with Marketing Strategy VA and client for calendars and approvals.

Video Editor & Digital Marketing Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Video Editor & Digital Marketing Assistant to support the growing marketing efforts of our client. The primary focus of this role is transforming raw video content into engaging, polished short-form videos for Instagram and the Client's App. Once priority video work is completed, remaining hours will be dedicated to ongoing digital marketing projects, including website updates, ad management, and email automation. You will collaborate closely with a Marketing Strategy VA and the client to ensure all content aligns with growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Short-Form Video Editing: Edit approximately 5 Instagram Reels per week. Transform raw footage into polished content by intentionally synchronizing text, transitions, sound effects, and visual flow to maximize viewer retention.

• Educational App Content: Edit and publish 2-3 tutorial or educational videos per week for the Unsifted App. Add captions, callouts, and zooms to ensure instructional content is clear, accurate, and professionally presented.

• Content & Asset Organization: Maintain highly organized folders for raw footage, project files, drafts, and final assets using consistent file naming conventions.

• Digital Advertising Support: Assist with setting up, updating, and organizing digital ads. Upload creative assets, monitor basic campaign performance, and elevate significant issues to the marketing team.

• Website Migration: Assist with transferring website to a new theme. Format existing content, check mobile responsiveness, and ensure basic functionality and content consistency.

• Email Automation: Set up, organize, and refine Klaviyo email automations. Assist with email formatting, link testing, and improving the overall user experience within existing flows.

• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Marketing Strategy VA to follow content calendars, and communicate directly with the client for raw content, feedback, and final approvals.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in video editing, with a specific focus on short-form social media content (Instagram Reels).

• Technical Proficiency: Strong capability to synchronize on-screen text and visual elements with music, narration, and video. Able to accurately apply captions, transitions, sound effects, and visual effects.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid sense of timing and visual storytelling. Must be proactive, capable of working independently on secondary projects, and highly receptive to constructive feedback.

• Remote Infrastructure: Must have a dedicated, noise-free home office setup equipped with a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a backup power source.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

• Experience with SaaS/app marketing or producing tutorial/educational videos.

• Familiarity with TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

• Hands-on experience with video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects) and design tools (Canva).

• Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Klaviyo, and website content management platforms (e.g., WordPress).
