What you’ll do

As the UI/UX Lead Designer at AlixPartners, your primary responsibility is to ensure the creation and design of user-centric platforms, either by doing them yourself or by fostering a team environment that enables an innovative mindset. These platforms provide value to both our internal practitioners and external clients. This role requires a deep sense of ownership and a commitment to a user-centric approach.

To excel in this role, you need to build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, team members, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Experience in leading design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Portfolio that demonstrates visual design skills, logical reasoning, creative thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment. English is required.
• Understanding of user interface patterns and best practices for SaaS and desktop/responsive web design.
• Experience with startup product development, user-personas definition, and MVP concept.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field.
• 7 or more years of experience as a UX/UI designer.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Deep knowledge of Interaction Design.
• Experience in Wireframing and Prototyping.
• Experience leading visual and responsive design efforts for business/SaaS products.
• Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work full-time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
