Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a Technology Development Program Manager to drive semiconductor technology development processes and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams across the organization.
You will partner with Advanced Packaging, Product Development, Sourcing, Quality, and Assembly/Test teams to align technology plans with the product roadmap, while leading process improvements and issue resolution in a global environment.
The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose-advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.
The Technology Development group is an integral organization of Allegro that includes Device Development, Foundry Operations, Modeling, ESD/EMC, and Design Enablement teams. The group facilitates all semiconductor devices and design automation research and development programs from concept through maturity. We ensure that the technology roadmap is aligned with the product roadmap and work across organizations. We manage partnerships with external foundries and suppliers to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor devices and design automation tools to support the product roadmap.
The Technology Development Program Manager will report to the Principal Technical Program Manager and is responsible for the semiconductor technology development process, managing technology development communications, and driving the cross-functional engineering level technology development. The Program Manager serves as an interface to internal cross-functional teams (Advanced Packaging, Product Development, Sourcing, Quality, Assembly/Test, etc.). Candidate will drive consistent technology development business processes across the programs and continually improve those processes. Leadership, project management, technology expertise, process improvement, and problem solving are key qualities to be able to influence internal cross-functional engineering teams, Allegro leadership, and foundries to make sure that the technology development plans are on track to support the product roadmap and that the teams are using the best business processes to efficiently achieve this goal. The candidate will help to proactively identify and resolve cross-functional issues that arise during technology research and development.
