The Role

This role is expected to work fully under ET hours.

At Brightscout , the Technical Delivery Manager is a pivotal leader, bridging client visions with cutting-edge technical execution for modern enterprise B2B solutions. You will be instrumental in guiding the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with client needs, and leading a high-performing development team to deliver innovative and impactful digital experiences. This role demands a blend of deep technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic understanding of project management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, leading discovery, architecture, and technical guidance.
  • Build strong client relationships, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Define optimal technical architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Project Delivery & Management:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Lead project scoping, estimation, and planning, providing accurate technical insights.
  • Manage project scope, risks, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful completion, while refining development processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the development team, fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Manage code quality, best practices, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Facilitate effective team communication and collaboration, and participate in recruitment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably within a digital agency, professional services, or technology-focused company.
  • Extensive experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud services and familiarity with GCP and Azure.
  • Strong proficiency in backend technologies including Node.js, and familiarity with Go (Golang).
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Proven experience in building modern enterprise B2B websites and digital platforms.
  • Experience in managing and growing development teams and optimizing development processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong client facing experience.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development and mentorship.
  • Empathy, collaboration, and a commitment to client success.
