This role involves acting as the primary contact for suppliers, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the acquisition of new services. Formación

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience or equivalent education.
  • Experience in internet/e-commerce preferred.

Description

Bookaway is an online ground travel platform, dedicated to creating the easiest way to book ground travel services from local transportation suppliers worldwide. We source the largest database of suppliers worldwide, so we can help travelers find the best services and easily plan trips while helping our partners go online and expand their customer reach.

We are looking for a Supply Operations Specialist to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Own and act as main local point of contact for Latam and neighboring markets
  • Ongoing training and support for Suppliers
  • Ensure Suppliers are paid in a timely manner, undertake ongoing reconciliation between Suppliers and Bookaway
  • Ensure Bookaway’s customers and their bookings are prioritized and confirmed within Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure Bookway customers have access to best availability and prices
  • Support new acquisition activity
  • Work with suppliers on gathering content (image, description, rates) to improve their online presence

Requirements

  • Strong Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is required Or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence both external / internal stakeholders
  • Experience in internet/e-commerce preferred
  • Proficient with Excel as well as CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk or other similar workflow platforms
  • Strong analytical, operational and problem solving skills
  • Shift and weekend work required

It’s Great if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Travel industry
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as Vietnamese, Laos, Khmer - highly regarded
