Hybrid: This position requires being on-site 3x/week.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage logistics of parts based on demand for Chevrolet Logistics Centers in Argentina and Brazil, and Chevrolet Dealers in both countries.
- Establish action plans and interact with international suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
- Analyze parts programming using SAP.
- Follow up with international suppliers:
- Demand analysis and scheduling based on forecast, safety stock, inventory, and ABC curve.
- Monitor supply chain: suppliers, logistics providers, and customs.
- Handle special requirements: INMETRO, import licenses, certificates of origin.
- Identify improvement opportunities based on inventory vs. minimum lot vs. forecast vs. demand.
- Monitor supplier performance.
- Interface with purchasing, logistics, customs, engineering, and warehouse teams.
- Develop strategies for critical cases with engineering and OEM transfers.
- Analyze alternatives for customer service, including call center coordination and part replacements.
- Participate in S&OP meetings to align with marketing plans and inventory reduction goals.
Qualifications
- Languages: English & Spanish.
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Higher education in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Engineering, or related fields. ( pref)
- 2-3 years of experience in the field of logistics, supply Chain, or international trade.
