Are you interested in working with pricing and market access in the pharmaceutical industry? Do you have flair for numbers and handling of large data sets?

ALK is the world leader in allergy vaccination (immunotherapy) with a wide range of allergy treatments, products, and services that meet the unique needs of allergy sufferers, their families, and health care professionals.

You will be part of the Global Market Access and Public Affairs, where we strive to achieve favourable market access conditions for current and new products, i.e. to optimize pricing and reimbursement for the ALK products. Our team is based at the ALK Headquarter with almost 1000 employees located in the DTU Science Park in Hørsholm, Denmark, with direct public transport from Nørreport. NB, when students are in the office for min. 5 hours, the student will be paid an additional hour of work to compensate for travel time and costs.

As a student assistant in Global Market Access and Public Affairs you will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team of 7 people. We offer inspiring and challenging tasks in an international environment where your primary tasks will be within pricing and market access.

Your tasks will cover:

• Handling sales data and supporting the preparation of the quarterly price monitor.
• Monitoring prices and doing analyses of pricing and reimbursement trends.
• Analyzing impact of price variability and supporting colleagues responsible for pricing in affiliates around the world and handling requests from different departments.
• Handling notification from parallel import.
• Handling ad hoc assignments which will be a combination of what is needed and what you find especially interesting regarding market access, pricing & public affairs.

Working hours will be 15-20 hours per week. During exam and project periods the working hours is flexible and adjusted according to your schedule. Job start is as soon as possible, but we understand if you need to finalise exams prior to your start.

Your profile
As the ideal candidate you will have finished at least the first two years of your bachelor and as a minimum you should be able to work with us for a year and a half. Your education could be Economics (can. polit.), Business/Marketing/Finance (can. merc.) or other related studies. It is also a possibility that you are studying at DTU and finding this area of work interesting.

We are looking for a student who:

• Communicate well in both spoken and written English.
• Have a flair for numbers and the ability to handle large data sets.
• Have solid analytical problem-solving skills.
• Work structured and independently.
• Are a team player and always up for a challenge.
• Are a super-user in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Have an interest in learning the functionalities of SAP.
