Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial services with experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, or operational risk management.
• Risk management: makes independent, risk-based decisions; develops escalation procedures and control frameworks; advises across Legal, Compliance, Audit, Risk.
• Change management: designs and executes change strategies; drives adoption with minimal disruption; coaches on best practices.
• Influence: persuades stakeholders with data-driven arguments; builds cross-functional relationships; advises on engagement.
• Internal stakeholder management: manages complex relationships; tailors communication; navigates competing interests.
• Communication & presentation: designs high-impact presentations; executive communications; synthesizes complex discussions.
• Teamwork: leads cross-functional teams; fosters collaboration; guides team dynamics.
• Knowledge sharing: leads knowledge transfer; establishes repositories; translates lessons into improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as an OCM (Operational Control Manager), leading the build-out of an enhanced, continuous, and integrated control framework to strengthen end-to-end risk assessment.
• Spearhead the design and execution of forward-looking control strategies to proactively identify and mitigate compliance and operational risks.
• Drive top-down risk analysis and enable real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and technology to translate business needs into scalable solutions that anticipate trends and uplift the control environment.
• Lead anti-fraud and cybersecurity initiatives to keep operations resilient and responsive to emerging threats.
• Inspire and guide a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders across Business, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk, delivering results with integrity and clear communication.
